Die Xanthosinmonophosphat , abgekürzt als XMP oder Säure xanthylic ist ein Ribonukleotid gebildet IMP unter der Wirkung der IMP - Dehydrogenase ( EC ) und gibt GMP durch die Wirkung des synthase GMP ( EC ) .
XMP kann zur Messung der IMP-Dehydrogenase im Purinstoffwechsel verwendet werden, um eine optimale Thiopurintherapie bei Kindern mit akuter lymphoider Leukämie sicherzustellen .
